Forecasts and recommendations of analysts of BTA Securities (Kazakhstan) for September 5, 2011

/IRBIS, September 5, 2011/ - JSC BTA Bank's Subsidiary
organization BTA Securities (BTA Securities, Almaty) has
provided IRBIS with a survey of main events, forecasts and
investment ideas for September 5, 2011.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on
world markets is composed as follows:
- U.S. markets fell by more than 2%. Following them Asian
indexes fall at the same pace. In this regard, it is assumed
that the trading session on locale will finish with decrease by
more than 1.5%. Domestic exporters could lose between
1.3% and more. Shares of the banking sector may be
cheaper by 2-5%. Small increase in BCC is possible.
Kazakhtelecom is still attractive in view of the current
uncertainty in the market.
- For the second day in a row Asian markets suffer significant
losses. Frustrated by the statistics on the U.S. labor market
is the main catalyst for the downward movement. Japan's
Nikkei drops 1.9% under pressure from exporters and bank
quotes chips. Hang Seng index and Shanghai lost since the
beginning of the trading session, more than 1.6%. Asian
investors continued to worry the situation of debt in the
eurozone. Another defeat of the ruling party in Germany
increases the likelihood of significant challenges in the future
for financial assistance by the weaker economies in the
eurozone.
- U.S. markets are closed today in observance of Labor Day.
- The euro/dollar declines by 0.33% and traded below 1.416.
Panic on the stock markets promotes the active care of
investors in the dollar, acting as a safe haven. Market
participants are gradually switching to the euro zone
unsolved problems, moving into the background the possible
launch of the third round of quantitative easing in the U.S. In
addition, most experts believe that despite the weak growth
in the eurozone economy ECB decides to lower interest
rates by the end of the year. In Europe, the expected data on
the PMI France, Italy and Germany, as well as retail sales in
the eurozone.
- Pessimistic expectations for the growth of the two largest
economies in the world - the United States and China -
putting pressure on commodity Commodities quotes. Copper
futures on the Shanghai Stock Exchange today, losing in the
cost of more than 0.8%. Quotes of the European Brent crude
oil fell by 0.45% to $ 111.8 per barrel in response to the
prospectus to reduce fuel consumption. Gold today is
surprisingly also in the red. The spot price of the metal
dropped below $1,880 per ounce. Asian investors at the
moment more often interested in the dollar and prefer to hold
cash rather than invest in Commodities or stocks.
