/IRBIS, August 4, 2011/ - JSC BTA Bank's Subsidiary
organization BTA Securities (BTA Securities, Almaty) has
provided IRBIS with a survey of main events, forecasts and
investment ideas for August 4, 2011.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on
world markets is composed as follows:
- It is difficult at present to determine the dynamics of the
upcoming auction on KASE. In general we can assume that
after the massive sales of yesterday, today, certain issuers
may fix profits. In particular, in favor of investors might be the
stocks of two representatives of the financial industry -
Halyk and Kazkom. Raw materials producers should act with
caution, although after a few days, a significant drop in
papers of Kazakhmys at current levels would be attractive to
members of the Kazakhstani stock market.
- On the markets in Asia today, there is predominance of
bullish sentiment. The Nikkei from the opening of trading
gained 0.7% in response to the Bank of Japan intervention in
the currency market to weaken the yen. Such news
supported exporters. Support to the Asian stock markets
have also provided messages that Hitachi and Mitsubishi
Heavy Industries could integrate some companies. Chinese
Shanghai is increasing at 0.33% amid speculation about a
possible third round of quantitative easing from Fed. Aircraft
manufacturers are in demand of investors after the
government of China announced that the industry will be one
of the strategic areas of the country. Against the market
today moves Hang Seng index, going down by 0.13%.
- Today, the euro/dollar, after a significant increase on the
previous day amid expectations of signals from the Fed to
use additional incentives, turned around and fell by 0.24% to
1.429. Investors took some fence in advance of the release
of data on changes in employment outside the USDA.
Statistics of ADP exceeded market expectations, but market
participants fear that the data from the Ministry of Labour
may be just as weak as in the previous month. Until then, the
market's attention will be riveted to the chairman of the ECB
after the meeting of the Central Bank on the discussion of
interest rates in the region. It is expected that the regulator
will signal that the pace of monetary tightening would
weaken considerably against the backdrop of slowing
inflation, which fell from 2.7% to 2.5%.
- Oil continues to move downward, falling today below $ 113
per barrel for mark Brent. Three-month copper futures fell by
0.72% in Shanghai. Despite the fact that the market is
growing at the optimistic rumors of future Fed policy,
commodities continue to remain under pressure from fears
about slowing global economic growth and subsequent
decline in demand for oil and industrial metals. Gold is
trading at yesterday's close level.
