03.08.11 15:47
/IRBIS, August 3, 2011/ - JSC BTA Bank's Subsidiary
organization BTA Securities (BTA Securities, Almaty) has
provided IRBIS with a survey of main events, forecasts and
investment ideas for August 3, 2011.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on
world markets is composed as follows:
- Activity of trading on the Kazakhstan stock exchange will be
weak. After yesterday's collapse of Metallurgists, now under
massive sales may be banking sector. Retained their
positions before the session the company of KMG EP, but
now decrease in quotations of the issuer is possible.
Although it is possible that the change in value of shares will
occur for only one or two members of KASE.
- Such significant as the last two days reduce in the Asian
stock indexes has not been observed since the March
earthquake in Japan. The reason for the sales today were
the statistical data from the U.S., which showed reduction in
consumption by U.S. citizens, which are the main source of
income for exporters of Asia. Asian investors are concerned
about the fact that international agencies, confirming the
rating of the United States at the AAA, did not rule out the
possibility of lowering, depending on the state of the
economy and implement a plan for cuts in government
spending. The Nikkei fell from the start of trading by 2.2%,
Hang Seng - 2%, Shanghai - 0.2%.
- Today, the euro/dollar hesitantly tries to creep up, adding
0.08% and trading just above 1.421. There are no reasons
for the growth of the euro so far. The demand for risky
assets is reduced everywhere. Debts are gaining new
momentum eurozone, which could soon result in a re-
scripted drama, "a la Greece", but with larger scales. Asian
investors today may be trying to win back the negative
statistics on consumer spending and income U.S. against
the dollar. During the day a significant impact on the sale will
provide an important portion macrostatistics: retail sales in
the euro area, changes in employment in the U.S. according
to ADP, the volume of industrial orders and non-production
index of ISM.
- Weak dynamics is observed today at the Commodities
market. Quotations were noted a slight increase oil and gold.
Brent futures price grew by 0.03% and the spot price of gold
added 0.05%. Copper in Shanghai decreased by 0.11%.
Market participants do not take active steps in the
commodity markets, waiting for data from the U.S., which will
confirm concerns about the slowdown's largest economy, or
dispel them.
