According to CFS NBK, Kazakhstan net pension assets reached KZT 2,452.1 billion ($16.8 billion) as of July 1, 2011

/IRBIS, July 29, 2011/ - According to the data of the Committee on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations of the National Bank (CFS NBK), the total amount of net pension assets (PA) in the republic (total pension assets excluding obligations on charged commission interests, creditors' debts on pension payments) as of July 1, 2011 reached KZT 2,452.1 billion. (equivalent of $16,815.1 million at the weighted average exchange rate effective on the mentioned date). Corresponding indicator from June 1, 2011 is KZT 2,419.0 billion or $16,633.3 million. In May 2011 net assets of accumulative pension funds (APF) grew by 1.4% in tenge terms (in dollar terms - 1.1%) relative to the previous month. As of the beginning of July 2011, the total sum of pension assets made KZT 2,454.1 bln., of which KZT 2,404.7 bln were invested. Total for July 2011 in the country were three specialized organizations engaged in investment management of pension assets (IMPA), and 12 of the APF. Nine funds - JSC "Accumulation Pension Fund of the People's Savings Bank of Kazakhstan", JSC "SPC" SAPF, JSC APF BTA Kazakhstan TO BTA Bank "JSC," SPF "Capital", JSC "SPC" Kazakhmys " JSC "OSPF" Otan ", JSC" SPC "Oil & Gas-Dem", JSC "SPC" Republic "and Eurasian APF managed their pension assets on their own. The share of the PA under management of those funds was at the beginning of July 2011 was 74.9% of the PA of the country (on June 1, 2011 - 71.5%). The following table shows the amount of assets of each fund (million KZT, unless otherwise indicated), as well as the distribution of assets of APF on IMPA on July 1, 2011. In terms of volume of assets under management leader tendency is continued by JSC "APF of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan" (33.5% of all agents in the management). On the second place is JSC "APF "SAPF" (17.6%), on the third place - "UlarUmit" APF JCS (16.9%). The highest rate of growth of assets in July 2011 characterized JSC "APF GRANTUM" (5.7% in tenge terms). In absolute monetary terms, by the greatest amount of growth of assets in the lead is JSC "APF Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan" (at 17,956.5 million tenge). On second place on this indicator is JSC "SPC GRANTUM" (at 10,710.6 million tenge), the third - JSC "APF "SAPF"(at 9,373.5 million tenge).
