/IRBIS, July 26, 2011/ - Today the map of industrialization includes
469 projects worth 8.3 trillion KZT with the creation of more than 167
thousand jobs during construction and 140 thousand jobs during
operation, said today in his report at a cabinet meeting Minister of
Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Kairat Kelimbetov.
"In 2010, 152 projects of Map of industrialization have been
committed totaling more than 803.4 billion KZT with the creation of
23 thousand permanent jobs. In 2011, over 200 projects worth about
700 billion were scheduled to be commissioned", - was stated in the
report.
According to him, in the first half of this year 75 projects were
launched at more than 114.9 billion tenge, providing more than 4
thousand temporary jobs and six thousand permanent jobs. The
major projects introduced in the first half of 2011:
- Recovery of Unit # 2 of Aksu Power Plant from Pavlodar
region by JSC "Eurasian Energy Corporation" in the amount of
27.3 billion tenge.
- The mine in the field "Priorskoe" by LLP "Copper Tknolodzhi"
from Aktobe region to the amount of 16.6 billion tenge.
- Industrial sea steel production complex of Company
"Kazakhstan Caspian Offshore Industries" from Mangistau
region totaling KZT 11.5 billion.
- Akbakayskaya gold processing plant in the Zhambyl region of
JSC "AK Altynalmas" worth 8.1 billion tenge.
"In the second half of 2011 launch of about 129 project totaling KZT
