/IRBIS, July 20, 2011/ - On July 19, 2011 on the Commodity
Exchange "ETC" trades of deliverable commodity futures contracts
were held.
The settlement price of futures for wheat of class 3 with delivery in
October 2011 decreased by 2.29% and amounted to KZT 35,860 per
tonne, the price of the contract for delivery in December 2011 - fell by
2.493% and amounted to KZT 33,340 per tonne, the price of the
contract with delivery in January 2012 - fell by 2.18% and amounted to
KZT 33,540 per tonne.
Estimated futures prices for wheat of class 3 with delivery in August,
September and November 2011 have not changed and amounted to
29,000, 29,200, 37,500 tenge per ton, respectively.
The settlement price of futures for wheat of class 4 for delivery in
December 2011 decreased by 2.47% and amounted to KZT 33,540
per tonne, the price of the contract for delivery in January 2012 - fell by
2.20% and amounted to 34,100 tenge per ton.
Settlement prices of futures for wheat of class 4 for delivery in August,
September, October and November 2011 have not changed and
amounted to 37,500, 37,000, 37,240 and 35,100 tenge per ton,
respectively.
Also on July 19 the following deals have been concluded:
- 2 deals with contracts for refined gold in bullions for delivery in
September 2011, with 54 open positions. Volume of
transactions was 704,464.57 tenge. The minimum selling price
amounted to 1,608.9 U.S. dollars for 1 troy ounce, max -
1,611.6 U.S. dollars per 1 ounce.
- 6 deals with the mini-contracts on refined silver for delivery in
August 2011, with 14 open positions. Volume of transactions
was 59,344.29 tenge. The minimum selling price was 40.07
U.S. dollars a troy ounce, maximum - 41.01 U.S. dollars for 1
ounce.
- 37 transactions with mini-contracts on refined gold in bullions for
delivery in August 2011 at 114 open positions. Volume of
transactions was 1,761,273.77 tenge. The minimum selling
price amounted to 1,606.3 U.S. dollars for 1 troy ounce, max -
1,612.9 U.S. dollars per 1 ounce.
- 10 transactions with mini-contracts on crude oil for delivery in
August 2011 with 70 open positions. Volume of transactions
was 561,777.47 tenge. The minimum selling price was 115.3
U.S. dollars per 1 barrel, maximum - 116.9 U.S. dollars per 1
barrel.
- 2 deals with the mini-contracts for wheat for delivery in August
2011 with two open positions. The volume of transactions
amounted to 14,605 tenge. The minimum selling price was
3,625 tenge per 100 kilograms, maximum - 3,730 tenge per
100 kilograms.
- 76 deals with contracts for crude oil for delivery in August 2011.
The volume of transactions amounted to 59,412,851 tenge. The
minimum selling price was 115.5 U.S. dollars per 1 barrel,
maximum - 117.2 U.S. dollars per 1 barrel.
- 1 deal with contracts for crude oil for delivery in September
2011, with 2 open positions. The volume of transactions
amounted to 170 201.12 tenge. The transaction price was
116.68 U.S. dollars a barrel.
Following the auction settlement price contract for refined gold in
bullions for delivery in December 2011 rose by 0.21% and amounted
to 1,611.8 U.S. dollars for 1 troy ounce, mini-contracts on copper for
delivery in August of 2011 - has not changed and amounted to KZT
14,100 per 10 kilograms, a contract on refined silver for delivery in
September, 2011 - grew by 0.42%% to 40.54 U.S. dollars a troy ounce,
the contract on refined silver for delivery in December 2011 - grew by
0.47% to 40.53 U.S. dollars a troy ounce.
