/IRBIS, July 19, 2011/ - JSC BTA Bank's Subsidiary organization
BTA Securities (BTA Securities, Almaty) has provided IRBIS with
a survey of main events, forecasts and investment ideas for July 19,
2011.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on
world markets is composed as follows:
- Today, as so often happens, the local index is likely to move
against the world trend. The rising cost of metals to support
share prices of the domestic mining companies. After declining
the previous day by more than 5%, can be played to increase
market Kazakhmys by 1% or more. Bidding on the chips of
banks would take place under the influence of global sentiment,
but does not exclude certain issuers jerk.
- In Asia, there is an exodus from risky assets, resulting in the
major indexes falling more than the region of 0.3%. Shares of
Chinese banks are under pressure on expectations of market
participants regarding future monetary policy tightening in China.
Shanghai index has lost since the beginning of the session
0.47%. Debt problems of the U.S. and the eurozone continue to
make a major catalyst to reduce risk appetites. In Japan, there is
a decrease in quotations of exporters. Nikkei falls 0.7%. Shares
of the financial sector dragged down the Hong Kong index -
Hang Seng fell 0.3%.
- Asian investors can not determine the further movement of the
euro / dollar, which is traded today at yesterday's close - 1.411.
German officials have expressed confidence that European
leaders would develop a final package of additional assistance to
Greece at the summit on July 21. Today, Spain holds an auction
on placement and 12ti 18timesyachnyh securities totaling 4.5
billion euros. Greece, meanwhile, will sell the three-month bills at
1.25 billion euros. The dynamics of the EUR/USD will be
determined by statistics today. ZEW institute will provide data on
the state of economic sentiment in Germany and the eurozone.
In the United States are expected positive data on the housing
market.
- Growth of gold does not stop. The greatest demand has been
observed in Europe, where residents, fearing for the fate of a
single currency, are investing their money in Swiss franc and
gold coins/bullions. Today, the spot price of the metal overcame
the level of $ 1,605 per troy ounce. Copper also shows a positive
trend. Red metal futures in Shanghai added 0.2%. Not quite
clear on this point is the situation with oil. In the early days there
was an increase of quotations on the background of changing
investor sentiment in favor of increased demand for fuel from
China and the U.S., which would have outweighed the possible
reduction in supplies to Europe. But then prices went back to
yesterday's values in response to the lack of movement in the
euro/dollar.
