/IRBIS, July 19, 2011/ - On July 18, 2011 on the Commodity
Exchange "ETC" trades of deliverable commodity futures contracts
were held.
The settlement price of futures for wheat of class 3 with delivery in
August 2011 increased by 1.07% and amounted to KZT 29,000 per
tonne, the price of the contract for delivery in September 2011 -
increased by 1.37% and amounted to KZT 29, 200 per tonne, the price
contract for delivery in October, 2011 - fell by 2.24% and amounted to
KZT 36 680 per tonne, the price of the contract for delivery in
December 2011 - fell to 2.43% and amounted to KZT 34,170 per
tonne, the price of the contract for delivery in January 2012 - fell by
2.13% and amounted to KZT 34,270 per tonne.
The settlement price of futures for wheat of class 3 with delivery in
November 2011 has not changed and amounted to 37,500 tenge per
ton.
The settlement price of futures for wheat of class 4 for delivery in
December 2011 decreased by 2.41% and amounted to KZT 34,370
per tonne, the price of the contract for delivery in January 2012 - fell by
2.15% and amounted to KZT 34,850 per tonne.
Settlement prices of futures for wheat of class 4 for delivery in August,
September, October and November 2011 have not changed and
amounted to 37,500, 37,000, 37,240 and 35,100 tenge per ton,
respectively.
Also on July 18 the following deals have been concluded:
- 13 deals with contracts for refined gold in bullions for delivery in
September 2011, with 54 open positions. Volume of
transactions was KZT 72,311,369.09. The minimum selling
price amounted to 1,600.5 U.S. dollars for 1 troy ounce, max -
1,605.4 U.S. dollars per 1 ounce.
- 3 deals with contracts for refined gold in bullions for delivery in
December 2011 at 78 open positions. Volume of transactions
was KZT 58,624,473.5. The minimum selling price amounted to
1,605.1 U.S. dollars for 1 troy ounce, max - 1,606.2 U.S. dollars
per 1 ounce.
- 3 deals with the mini-contracts on refined silver for delivery in
August 2011 with three open positions. Volume of transactions
was 17,251.98 tenge. The minimum selling price was 38.0 U.S.
dollars for 1 troy ounce, highest - 40.4 U.S. dollars per 1 ounce.
- 27 transactions with mini-contracts on refined gold in bullions for
delivery in August 2011 to 90 open positions. Volume of
transactions was 1,310,452.74 tenge. The minimum selling
price amounted to 1,597.4 U.S. dollars for 1 troy ounce, max -
1,605.0 U.S. dollars per 1 ounce.
- 14 transactions with mini-contracts on crude oil for delivery in
August 2011, with 32 open positions. Volume of transactions
was KZT 681,254.8. The minimum selling price was 116.1 U.S.
dollars per 1 barrel, maximum - $ 118 for a barrel.
- 3 deals with the mini-contracts for wheat for delivery in August
2011 with 6 open positions. The volume of transactions
amounted to 10,585 tenge. The minimum selling price was
3,525 tenge per 100 kilograms, maximum - 3,530 tenge per
100 kilograms.
- 1 deal with contracts for refined silver for delivery in September
2011 with 20 open positions. Transaction volume amounted to
KZT 1,456,649.3, the transaction price was 39.9 U.S. dollars per
1 ounce.
Following the auction settlement price of the mini-contracts on copper
for delivery in August of 2011 - has not changed and amounted to KZT
14,100 per 10 kilograms, a contract on refined silver for December
delivery in 2011 - grew by 5.28% and was $ 40.34 for 1 ounce, the
contract for crude oil for August delivery in 2011 - grew by 0.61% to
116.41 U.S. dollars a barrel, contract for delivery in September, 2011 -
rose by 0.54% to 116.33 U.S. dollars a barrel.
