Indices of stock markets of developing countries on Friday showed
opposite changes. On the one hand support was provided by
favorable corporate news: the second quarter 2011 net income of
Internet giant Google Inc. grew by 36.4% to $ 2.51 billion ($ 7.68 per
share), compared with $ 1.84 billion ($ 5.71 per share) a year earlier.
Revenue for the period increased by 32% to $ 9 billion
However, on the other hand pressure was put by weak U.S. statistics
and news from Europe. According to preliminary data, the index of
consumer confidence in the U.S., which is calculated by Reuters and
the University of Michigan, in July 2011 was 63.8 points. Analysts
