/IRBIS, July 8, 2011/ - JSC BTA Bank's Subsidiary organization
BTA Securities (BTA Securities, Almaty) has provided IRBIS with
a survey of main events, forecasts and investment ideas for July 8,
2011.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on
world markets is composed as follows:
- Today on the domestic market can rise in demand the shares of
mining companies because of rising economic optimism in
foreign markets. Given that today will be the key labor market
data in the U.S., investors may be more incentive to buy,
because data may be positive, given yesterday's figures.
- Asian markets today are growing supported by positive
sentiment after the U.S. sites is very positive U.S. data on
employment in the private sector. Shanghai index today adds
0.2%, Hang Seng - 1.1%, Japan's Nikkei - 0.9%.
- Today, the euro/dollar falls by 0.1%, trading below $ 1.435.
Despite the increase in ECB rates, pressure on the euro
continue to have difficulties in providing additional assistance to
Greece, due to the tough stance of the international rating
agencies, which warned of a possible declaration of the country's
default in the execution plan for a voluntary extension of debt.
Unexpectedly, the positive statistics on the U.S. labor market
adds confidence to investors that the U.S. dollar at the moment
is somewhat preferable. Positive employment in the U.S. today
can be continued after the data will be published on the change
in non-farm employment. Expected to increase the number of
new jobs by 105th against 54th in previous month, but the
unemployment rate remains at 9.1%. Although it is possible that
the rate may drop to 8.8-9%.
- In the market of raw materials mixed feelings rule today. Oil
prices are adjusted after the main ideas were played off. Prices
for industrial metals continue to rise. Thus, copper futures in
Shanghai added more than 1.5% on speculation that poor
weather conditions in Chile, the largest exporter of the metal,
and strikes at the field in Indonesia, will help to preserve the
shortage of metal in the market. The spot price of gold adds
0.06%, reflecting continuing concerns about the debt problems of
the Eurozone. Prices for Brent oil and WTI today are falling in the
range of 0.5.
