/IRBIS, June 29, 2011/ - JSC BTA Bank's Subsidiary organization
BTA Securities (BTA Securities, Almaty) has provided IRBIS with
a survey of main events, Forecasts and Investment ideas for June
29, 2011.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on
world markets is composed as follows:
- Today on the domestic market rebound after a two-day drop
against the global market is possible. The situation in the
markets is still determined by the expectations of investors about
the problems in Greece. Despite the optimism, uncertainty
remains in the background of unrest in Greece before taking a
decision in Parliament today to plan the economy.
- Asian indexes rise again today, only on individual indicators
there is a negative trend. The market once again is supported by
the optimism about Greece. However, the main news from the
country is not yet available, because debate in Parliament on the
adoption of the plan economy continues. The decision will be
made today. Rumors that the largest lenders in Greece,
Germany, commercial banks are currently discussing the
possibility of rollover of the country, add some positive. Indices
Hang-Seng and Nikkei are currently increasing by 0.4% and 1%,
Shanghai Composite is in negative territory, trading up 0.4%
below the previous day's close.
- Today, the euro / dollar falls 0.12% to 14,354. Market
participants continue to languish in the expectations of the
outcome of the vote in Greece. The party of current Prime
Minister Papandreou has 155 out of 300 seats in Parliament, but
such a small benefit does not give rise even count on the support
of their colleagues. Mass protests in many cities across the
country accompanied by severe clashes with the police. The bulk
of the protesters are employees of the public sphere, which will
primarily affect the budget discussion. Thus, the situation on the
streets could be a turning point in solving the people's
representatives to vote against the proposed fiscal measures.
Approval of the plan of French banks in voluntary reinvestment
of funds in the sovereign bonds in Greece continues to depend
on the outcome of a vote. Meanwhile, the international rating
agency Fitch said they could declare the country's default, even
if voluntary rollover of debt will occur.
- The raw market was quiet today after rising the previous day.
Crude futures of WTI oil today are traded almost at the level of
previous day's close. Brent also has not changed significantly in
price. Oil market speculation support that U.S. crude stocks last
week fell by 1.5 million barrels. Prices for industrial metals and
gold increased. With the notable growth of quotations of trading
today is copper in Shanghai (+0.9%) and New York (+0.3%).
Gold compared to yesterday's close added 0.1%. Investors
expect a rise in prices for precious metals in response to the
growing unrest of the population in Greece before leaving the
decision on the fate of the country's Parliament savings plan
needed to get help from the EU.
