/IRBIS, June 22, 2011/ - JSC BTA Bank's Subsidiary organization
BTA Securities (BTA Securities, Almaty) has provided IRBIS with
a survey of main events, Forecasts and Investment ideas for June
22, 2011.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on
world markets is composed as follows:
- The domestic market can have a boost amid Greek news,
yesterday at auction in London have risen significantly prices of
shares of Kazakhmys, ENRC and KMG EP. Today, perhaps
these papers will support the market.
- Trading in Asia today is generally dictated by the "bulls". Hang-
Seng and Nikkei rise, playing the good news for Greece. The
Prime Minister of this country yesterday was a preliminary vote
of confidence, allowing the government to continue to implement
cost-saving measures for financial support from the EU.
Negative trend shows only the Shanghai index, falling by 0.3%
on fears that the central bank of the country will take the next
steps to curb inflation. Chinese stocks of the financial sector and
mining companies fall in value.
- Today, the euro/dollar traded at 1.4366, falling by more than
0.3%, even though the growth of the Asian indices on the
background of successful outcome of the vote in Greece.
Participants in the foreign exchange market are pessimistic
about what the government can get updated on the approval of
Parliament developed jointly with the EU plan to reduce budget
spending, tax increases and sales of state assets by 78 billion
euros. In this case, the high risks of increased social tensions
within the country exist. Today, investors will switch their
attention from the euro area to the U.S., where performance of
the president on the outcome of the Federal Reserve Bernanke,
on two-day meeting of the Federal Committee on Open Market
(FOMC) is expected. It is assumed that there will be formally
announced the completion of the QE2 on June 30. However, of
particular interest will be the nature of the application: whether
will any signal about the need for monetary tightening in coming
months be given.
- On the market of raw oil and industrial metals are observed
mixed trends. Crude oil futures of Brent are currently increasing
by 0.4% and traded at $111.67 a barrel. American Oil, by
contrast, is reduced in price by 0.6% on speculation of investors
that the decline in U.S. oil inventories last week was small. By
that investors came after the API released its report on the stock
from which the data was worse than economists forecast. With a
small decrease in quotations copper futures are trading today in
Shanghai (-0.1%) and New York (-0.5%) under pressure from
speculation about the possibility of further measures to tighten
monetary policy in China. Gold compared to yesterday's closing
has virtually unchanged in value.
