In April 2011 average monthly wage in Kazakhstan made KZT 83,276

/IRBIS, June 14, 2011/ - In April 2011 the average nominal wage per
employee was 83,276 tenge, an increase compared with the
corresponding month last year by 10.7%, in real terms - by 2,2%, was
indicated in the report released today by the Agency of the Republic of
Kazakhstan on Statistics.
As reported in the industrial structure, the highest salary was in the
financial and insurance activities - 188.6 thousand tenge (2.3 times the
average national level), in professional, scientific and technological
activities - 167.4 thousand tenge (2.0 times), in mining and quarrying -
155.6 thousand tenge (1.9 times).
The lowest wage remains in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 34.0
thousand tenge, which is less than the national average by 59.1%.
Regionally, the highest salary is saved in the Atyrau oblast - 164.4
thousand tenge, which is 2.0 times the average national rate. In North
Kazakhstan region, its value amounted to 53.7 thousand tenge, which
is 35.5% below the national average.
