a survey of main events, Forecasts and Investment ideas for June
14, 2011.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on
world markets is composed as follows:
- Today the domestic market will experience a moderately positive
trend due to a moderate rise in prices for raw materials, and
corporate news for mining companies. Leaders of growth can be
ENRC and Kazakhmys shares after it became known, that trader
Glencore, on the recently concluded IPO, expressed interest in
buying 57% of Kazakhstan's ENRC shares for $ 19.5 billion last
Quotations in recent weeks collapsed to 7.42 pounds per issues
of corporate governance. Last week, two independent directors
ENRC resigned that spooked investors. ENRC shares yesterday
rose by 4.6% and Kazakhmys, by 2.2%. The domestic market
has not reacted to the event.
- Trading in Asia today is in a volatile manner. In the morning the
major indexes suffered losses in the region in response to
lowering the credit rating of Greece to "CCC" by agency S & P,
indicated their concerns about the possible restructuring of debts
of the country. Later, the indices started to recover and are now
trading at a moderately positive zone after the Chinese statistics
on inflation and industrial production. The data showed a higher
industrial growth than economists expected and consumer prices
in-line with market expectations. Thus concerns about tight
drawdown of China's economy against the backdrop of
increasing interest rates and further tightening of monetary policy
loosened. The Shanghai index is growing at 1%, Hong Kong
adds 0.25%, the Japanese Nikkei - 1.2%.
- Today, the euro / dollar adds a little more than 0.1% and is
trading at 1.443 on the eve of a meeting of EU finance ministers
on the issue of resolving the debt problems of Greece. However,
many market participants expect the European leaders will be
extremely difficult to come to a common trade-offs against the
backdrop of difficulties in the dialogue between the ECB and
Germany. Today will be available the first portion of a significant
macrostatistics of current week. While U.S. pressure has the
expected data on retail sales in the U.S., whose volumes in May,
according to experts, decreased by 0.5% against growth on a
percentage of the previous month. Wholesale price index
projected to economists, rose by 6.8% in annual terms, but
excluding prices for food and fuel prices grew by 2.1%. Analysts
of BTA Securities expect the motion of pair euro / dollar in the
area of 1,445-1,448 marks.
- In the Asian session on the commodity markets moderately
positive trend is observed. Prices of industrial metals after the
Chinese statistics on inflation and industrial production remain in
positive trend, but the signs of an extremely positive response to
these players do not. Futures price for the supply of copper in
Shanghai increases by 0.3%. Brent crude oil today is trading in
the green zone, with only a small advantage.
