REVIEW: KASE market of shares in May, 2011

/IRBIS, June 10, 2011/ - In May 2011 the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) on shares in all sectors were recorded 982 transactions totaling 6,237.1 million tenge, or 42.8 million U.S. dollars at current exchange rates at the dates of transactions. The said amount is 31.8% of the monthly volume of transactions in corporate securities market of KASE (in April 2011 - 20.0%) and 0.3% of the total exchange monthly turnover (0.7%). As a result of May 2011 at the KASE increased average daily prices of 9% of names of shares (in April 2011 - 31%), decreased - 73% of names (50%), prices of 18% of the shares have not changed (15%). Maximum trends for the month showed the following tools: CCBN increased by 1.5%, TEBN fell by 20.2%. In April 2011 the maximum trends were shown by AMGZp (+24.1%) and TEBN (-37.5%).
