/IRBIS, June 6, 2011/ - JSC BTA Bank's Subsidiary organization
BTA Securities (BTA Securities, Almaty) has provided IRBIS with
a survey of main events, Forecasts and Investment ideas for June 6,
2011.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on
world markets is composed as follows:
- Bearish sentiment in Asia and the negative dynamics of
quotations of "black gold" will have a negative impact on the
domestic index KASE. Particular caution should be exercised to
EP KMG. However, we do not exclude the possibility of
purchasing the issuer's securities following a significant decline
on Friday. In the black can be Kazakhmys shares against the
backdrop of a significant rise in price of copper. Representatives
of the banking sector may come under a wave of fixed income.
- Japan's Nikkei for the third day to a series is influenced by the
bearish sentiment, falling today by more than 0.7%. Negativity in
the market is associated with a possible slowdown in the global
economy against the backdrop of negative statistics from the
U.S. The main pressure on the index have stocks of operator on
Fukushima nuclear power company Tepco, which collapsed by
24% in anticipation of the publication of financial statements,
which allegedly show an annual net loss of $ 7.1 billion. Stock
markets of China and Hong Kong are closed due to the
festivities.
- Today, the euro/dollar is traded at the level of closure of trading
session on Friday - 1.4636. News that Greece will receive the
fifth tranche of financial assistance in its entirety (12 billion
euros) supports the single currency. The IMF agreed to provide
its share of just over 3 billion euros after EU and Greece together
failed to give adequate plans to reduce public expenditures and
sale of government assets worth about 80 billion euros.
European authorities with the support of Germany continue to
develop additional support package. Today, investors can once
again return to the topic of interest rates by the ECB in advance
of PPI data for the eurozone, which, according to experts, grew
by 0.8% in May.
- The commodity markets are experiencing mixed feelings. Risks
of slowing world economy actively hedged gold spot price, which
is growing at 0.24% and is at $1,545.85 an ounce. Under
pressure are quotes of Brent oil, futures of which lost 0.52%,
having fallen to a level of $115.3 per barrel. Copper trades in
Shanghai today are not carried out, in the meantime the three-
month futures in New York added a little more than 0.10%.
