On June 1, 2011 the amount of debt of Kazakhstan, issued in the form of government securities together with servicing amounted to KZT3,553.9 billion ($24,452.3 million)

/IRBIS, June 1, 2011/ - As of June 1, 2011, the amount of public debt of Kazakhstan, issued in the form of government securities (GSB), together with the service (the sum of coupon payments) amounted at current prices KZT3,553.9 billion or the equivalent of 24,452.3 million U.S. dollars rate of KZT145.34 per dollar. That was the conclusion IRBIS experts in the analysis of their own databases. In conducting this analysis, the amount of future payments on MEUZHKAM and MUIKAM in calculating the consumer price index, which was recorded for the period from March 2009 to May 2011. From May 01 to 31 2011 the total debt decreased by 112.4 billion (-3.1%) or in dollar terms - by $738.4 million (-2.9%). In April 2011 the total debt increased by 18.5 billion tenge (0.5%) or in dollar terms - by $154.5 million (0.6%). According to data available to the IRBIS output of GS from the National Bank of Kazakhstan in May 2011 on the amounts of placement was 258,863.6 million KZT (in April 2011 - 306,537.0 million KZT). In this case, the issuer redeemed the notes in the amount of 393,015.5 million KZT (in April - 305,299.2 million KZT). Thus, the May balance of net borrowing of National Bank on the government securities market amounted to minus 134,151.8 million KZT. The corresponding figure in April 2011 - plus 1,237.8 million KZT (the minus sign in the exponent of balance means that the said amount was withdrawn from the budget of the issuer and has remained among investors, "plus" - for that amount the issuer has taken longer than repaid). Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan has attracted over the period 1,942 065.0 million KZT (in April 2011 - 48,760.4 million KZT), but paid the par value of bonds and the coupon on the $ 34,060.3 million KZT (in April - 41,358.7 million KZT). The May surplus net borrowing in the Ministry of Finance was estimated by IRBIS as plus 8,004.7 million KZT (in April 2011 - plus 7,401.7 million KZT). In May 2011 the overall balance of net borrowing of Kazakh issuers of government securities was valued by IRBIS at minus 126,147.1 million KZT. The corresponding figure in April 2011 was plus 8,639.5 million KZT.
