The assets of "Nurbank" JCS for the first quarter of 2011 decreased 10.4%

/IRBIS, May 20, 2011/ - "Nurbank" JCS (Almaty, hereinafter referred
to as Bank), whose stocks are included into KASE official list, has
provided KASE its consolidated financial accounting for the first
quarter of 2011.
Reported net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 amounted to
91.821 million tenge compared with 1,711.814 million tenge, received
for the same period in 2010. Profit before tax amounted to 166.498
million tenge against 1,855.541 million in the first quarter of 2010.
In this case, the bank's net interest income for the period decreased by
3.0 times compared to the first quarter of 2010 (4,818.480 million
tenge) and was 1,581.182 million tenge.
The bank's assets as at 1 April 2011 amounted to 256,268.079 million
tenge, which is 10.4% lower than at the beginning of this year. Bank
liabilities have decreased over the quarter of 2011 by 14.1% and
amounted to 185,891.547 million KZT
