Indices of stock markets of developing countries on Wednesday
showed mostly a decline. Pressure was negative statistics from
China and the U.S. Consumer price index in China in April 2011
increased by 5.3%, slowed down as compared with March (5.4%),
but exceeded analysts' expectations (5.2%). Industrial production in
the country in April increased by 13.4% over the same period in 2010
against growth by 14.8% in March 2011. The U.S. Commerce
Department reported that the trade deficit of the country in March
2011 rose to $ 48.2 billion. Analysts had forecast value of the index
at $ 47 billion over the revised data. In February, the U.S. trade
deficit totaled $ 45.4 billion (previously reported $ 45.8 billion).
