/IRBIS, May 6, 2011/ - On May 5, 2011 on the Commodity Exchange
"ETC" trades of deliverable commodity futures contracts were held.
Following the auction 1 deal was concluded with contracts for refined
gold bullion for delivery in June 2011, with 16 open positions. Volume
of transactions was 220,843.26 KZT. The price of the transactions
amounted to 1,505 U.S. dollars for 1 troy ounce.
The estimated contract price for refined gold bullion for delivery in
September 2011 decreased by 2.26% and amounted to 1,506.5, U.S.
dollars for 1 troy ounce.
In addition, the trades on contracts for the supply of wheat of class 3
and 4, with delivery in May, June, July, August and September,
October, 2011 were held.
Estimated futures prices for wheat of class 3 with delivery in May,
June, July, August and September, and October 2011 have not
changed and amounted to 43,500, 44,000, 42,500, 44,500 and 43,500,
37,500 Tenge per tonne, respectively.
Settlement prices of futures for wheat Class 4 with delivery in May,
June, July, August and September, October, 2011 have not changed
and amounted to 35,000, 36,500, 37,500, 37,500 and 37,000, 37,240
