BTA Securities (BTA Securities, Almaty) has provided IRBIS with
a survey of main events, Forecasts and Investment ideas for April
28, 2011.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on
world markets is composed as follows:
- Domestic stock markets will hold the trade in positive manner.
The interest may possibly be in the raw material sector thanks to
today metal price increase. Banking sector stocks may restore
after Wednesday quotations fall
- Asian indices go up thanks to USA news, when FRS head had
confirmed the regulator's tend to soft monetary policy, thanks to
controlled inflation, moderate economic growth tempo and high
unemployment level. Nikkei goes up 1.3%, Hang Seng - 0.5%.
- The investors start actively selling dollar after yesterday
Bernanke's speech, who supported the continuation of soft
monetary policy until the labour-market would stabilize.
Regulator also didn't change the conditions on inflation, marking
it was temporary, connected with the rise of raw materials prices.
In the long term, the percent rates stayed on the minimum (0-
0.25%), and the QE program would be finished in full volume
($600 billion) by the end of June, and the Central Bank would go
on reinvesting the funds gained from the repayments on the
bought stocks (hypothecary bonds and exchequer stock) on the
first round of QE. Bernanke has declined the possibility of the
third round of the program taking place. Also, the potential
delation of USA economic growth was noted to be 1.8-2% in the
first quarter of 2011. The statistics on GDP will be available
today. In the meantime, the EUR/USD rate increased 0.53% up
to 1.487.
- Positive movement can be seen in the metals market. After the
recent days great quotation decrease copper prices started the
restoration thanks to the metal demand increase. Copper future
contracts gain 1.4% in New York, 0.3% in Shanghai. Gold is
more than $1,528 per ounce. Brent futures are at the same level
as yesterday closing.
- The trading dynamics in Europe and USA will be affected by
American statistics on the real GDP growth, personal
consumption, number of primary orders for unemployment
benefit and the dynamics of the number of signed contracts on
purchase of estate. The growth of USA economics is predicted to
be 2%, personal consumption - on the same level.
