/KASE, March 15, 11/ - A conference under the name "Kazakhstan Financial Forum"
is to be held at the "Royal Tulip Almaty" hotel on March 17, 2011. The event is
organized by the Information Agency CBonds (Kazakhstan).
The conference will be supported by Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE). The
general partner in organizing the conference is "Aton" (Russia), the official
partner is "Centras Securities", the partner is ASYL-INVEST (Kazakhstan).
Magazines "Kazakhstan's Stock Market", "Private Money", and "LS" and the
"Capital" newspaper will provide information support to the event.
Issues relating to the state of world and Kazakhstan's financial markets in the
phase of recovery as well as possible development forecasts and scenarios are
supposed to be discussed during the event.
Senior officers from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the
Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation and Supervision of Financial
Market and Financial Organizations, KASE, the Agency of the Republic of
Kazakhstan on Regulation of Activities of the Regional Financial Centre of
Almaty, banks and investment companies from Russia and Kazakhstan will take
part as speakers in the conference.
There are the following issues in the conference's agenda:
- Economy's global challenges: are new shocks likely to happen?
- Prospects of the stock exchange market's development: are there going to be
new instruments and issuers?
- Institutional investors: overview of the debt market (restructuring of
defaulted issues - analysis of rescue programs).
- Legislative novelties with regard to the protection of borrowers and
investors.
- Efficient issue structure - recent tendencies in the demand and market
conditions.
- Government securities market: is there threat of overheating?
- Experience in debt restructuring.
