/KASE, February 1, 11/ - By shares trading results on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
(KASE) on February 1, 2011, KASE index increased by 23.35 points (1.30 %) from
1,790.97 to 1,814.32.
The first deal fixed index at 1,793.03. During the trades the maximum value
made up 1,819.78, the minimum - 1,793.03.
Volume of deals in shares, included to the index representative list, on
February 1 against the previous trading day in tenge increased by 9.1 times and
made up KZT193.7 m (USD1,318.1 th.).

The KASE Index shows a change in prices of the index representative list stocks
for calculation of the index, with account to capitalization of such issuers and
a number of such stocks in free float. One stock weight must not exceed 15 %.
The KASE Index is calculated during a trading day as deals in the representative
list stocks are concluded. If during a trading day no deals are made in a
representative list stock, then for purposes of such calculation results of the
last resultant trade session are used.
