/KASE, January 28, 11/ - By shares trading results on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
(KASE) on January 28, 2011, KASE index increased by 1.49 points (0.08 %) from
1,803.65 to 1,805.14.
The first deal fixed index at 1,810.68. During the trades the maximum value
made up 1,810.68, the minimum - 1,800.42.
Volume of deals in shares, included to the index representative list, on
January 28 against the previous trading day in tenge increased by two times and
made up KZT51.5 m (USD351.0 th.).

The KASE Index shows a change in prices of the index representative list stocks
for calculation of the index, with account to capitalization of such issuers and
a number of such stocks in free float. One stock weight must not exceed 15 %.
The KASE Index is calculated during a trading day as deals in the representative
list stocks are concluded. If during a trading day no deals are made in a
representative list stock, then for purposes of such calculation results of the
last resultant trade session are used.
