BTA Securities (BTA Securities, Almaty) has provided IRBIS with a survey
of main events, Forecasts and Investment ideas for January 27, 2011.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on world
markets is composed as follows:
- Trading Session in Asia started the day positively. All three indexes in the
region are growing, picking up the mood of U.S. trading. Nikkei adds 0.8%,
Hang Seng is growing at 0.4% and Shanghai jumped 1.36%. Engines of
growth are the raw materials companies. Fall in the price of builders and
developers. Positive data on sales of new housing in the U.S. are pushing
the demand for risky assets. Further continuation of the program QE2 also
has a positive impact on the global economic recovery.
- The euro/dollar declines by 0.08% and traded at 1.3702, after yesterday,
EUR / USD rate in the session reached a point 1.3722. Investors have
decided to do a little breather after buying the euro for the past two weeks.
Another portion macro statistics both in Europe and the U.S. should set a
certain tone in favor of a currency.
- Commodity market shows a mixed trend. The cost of oil today is corrected,
reduced by 0.67% to 96.9 after the EIA report that stocks of raw materials
in the U.S. last week rose by 4.8 million barrels. Copper futures in
Shanghai are growing, despite news that China plans to reduce imports of
copper in 2011 to 4.5% in the dearness of the metal, and switch to the
