Stock indices of emerging markets on Tuesday closed mostly lower. The
pressure exerted news from Europe, as well as a decline in oil and base
metals. According to preliminary data, the UK GDP in the fourth quarter of 2010
compared with the previous quarter decreased by 0.5%, showing a greater loss
in the second quarter of 2009. Analysts had expected growth rate at 0.5%. In
annual terms, the GDP of Great Britain in the fourth quarter of 2010 increased
by 1.7%, analysts predicted an increase of 2.6%. According to the National
Statistical Service of Great Britain, in the fourth quarter of 2010, construction
volume decreased by 3.3%, services - by 0.5%.
Oil prices fell to a two-year low against U.S. dollar strengthening. Earlier, oil
minister of Saudi Arabia Mr. Ali Al-Naimi said the world economy clearly
overcome a recession and prices this year will be stable compared with last
year. Investors regarded the statement as the likelihood of OPEC increasing oil
production.

the 30 most liquid stocks of Russian issuers.
RTSI - Russia's stock market index Stock Exchange RTS. Calculated on the basis
of 50 securities of most capitalized Russian companies.
MSCI EM - a composite index of stock market capitalization of emerging markets
areas. Since May 2005. includes the index values 26 developing countries:
