IRBIS overview of major events and of their investment ideas and
forecasts on January 18, 2011.
Analysts of JSC ASYL INVEST note that trading on the Kazakhstan
stock market on Monday were calm and ended a slight increase of
the index KASE. The main positive impact on the dynamics of the
index has increased prices of shares of KMG EP by 3%. Trading in
shares and depositary receipts of Kazakhstan issuers on the
London Stock Exchange on Monday ended with multidirectional
price dynamics. Shares of mining companies traded in the "red
zone": equities Kazakhmys fell 1.46%, shares of ENRC - 1,2%.
Depositary Receipts KMG, KKB and NSBK rose 6.44%, 1.67% and
2.05% respectively.
