(KASE) on December 20, 2010, KASE index decreased by 1.90 points (0.11 %) from
1,677.16 to 1,675.26.
The first deal fixed index at 1,670.13. During the trades the maximum value
made up 1,683.74, the minimum - 1,669.41.
Volume of deals in shares, included to the index representative list,
on December 20 against the previous trading day in tenge decreased by
22.7 % and made up KZT56.9 m (USD386.5 th.).

for calculation of the index, with account to capitalization of such issuers and
a number of such stocks in free float. One stock weight must not exceed 15 %.
The KASE Index is calculated during a trading day as deals in the representative
list stocks are concluded. If during a trading day no deals are made in a
representative list stock, then for purposes of such calculation results of the
last resultant trade session are used.
