/KASE, December 7, 10/ - By shares trading results on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
(KASE) on December 7, 2010, KASE index increased by 31.21 points (1.92 %) from
1,629.64 to 1,660.85.
The first deal fixed index at 1,628.94. During the trades the maximum value
made up 1,660.85, the minimum - 1,621.02.
Volume of deals in shares, included to the index representative list, on
December 7 against the previous trading day in tenge increased by 4.3 times and
made up KZT101.5 m (USD687.9 th.).

The KASE Index shows a change in prices of the index representative list stocks
for calculation of the index, with account to capitalization of such issuers and
a number of such stocks in free float. One stock weight must not exceed 15 %.
The KASE Index is calculated during a trading day as deals in the representative
list stocks are concluded. If during a trading day no deals are made in a
representative list stock, then for purposes of such calculation results of the
last resultant trade session are used.
