In Kazakhstan, food prices in October 2010 compared with October 2009 increased by 9.1%

/IRBIS, December 3, 2010/ - In Kazakhstan, food prices increased by 9.1% in November 2010 compared with November 2009, indicated in the report issued by Agency for Statistics of the Republic of Kazakhstan for November 3, 2010. It is reported that in November of this year compared with the corresponding month of previous year prices on cereals increased by 24.1%, oils and fats - by 16.6%, fruits and vegetables - by 15.8%, coffee, tea and cocoa - by 12.7%, sugar - 10%, dairy products - by 9.3%, confectionery products - by 8.1%, a bakery and pastry products - by 7.1%, alcoholic beverages - by 4.9%, bread - 1%. Decline in prices observed for flour at 6.3%. The prices for meat and meat products during this period amounted to 11.9%. The price level on the lamb was higher at 12.2%, poultry - by 8.6%, meat products - by 8.5%, pork - 7.5%, horse meat - 5.5%.
