JSC (Almaty, IFH RESMI) provided IRBIS overview of major events
and their investment ideas and projections for December 2, 2010.
Analysts of IFH RESMI give attention to the following to the
important events in the markets:
- On Wednesday, the Kazakhstan stock market was closed by
growth index KASE. Value of the local benchmark rose 0.46% and
amounted to 1 607.79 points. The volume of transactions with
shares, included in the representative index, was 41.1 million KZT.
The largest growth of stock price made Kazkommertsbank with
price growth at 1.8%, while the share price was 445 KZT. Steel
companies ENRC Plc and Kazakhmys Plc closed by the end of
trading session, the growth of quotations of securities by 1.4% and
0.6% respectively. Paper Company KMG Exploration and
Production rose by 0.3%. On the stock Kazakhtelecom and the
National Bank of changes in prices were recorded.
BankCenterCredit was the sole representative of the "red area" and
closed price was down at 0.9%. Today the possible growth of
KASE index by the end of the trading session.
- On Wednesday, 01 December, the U.S. stock markets closed on a
positive note. The mood of the markets affected by the news of an
increase in industrial production in China, as well as a report from
economists from Goldman Sachs, in which experts raised the
forecast for U.S. growth to 2.7% next year. As part of the Dow
Jones index of stock price growth leaders were Home Depot and
United Technologies Corp, whose shares rose 4.63% and 3.97%
respectively. Thus, the index rose by 249.76 points (2.27%) and at
11 255.78 points. S & P 500 closed by growth of 25.52 points
(2.16%) and amounted to 1 206.07 points. European stock markets
also have closed in green territory. "Britain's FTSE 100 rose 114.23
points (2.07%) and amounted to 5 642.50 points. Today in the U.S.
is expected to yield data on the volume of sales of vehicles, as well
as publish a report on the number of continuing applications for
unemployment benefits.

institution in Kazakhstan. Analysts see the growth of the bank's
shares up to KZT409 per share;
- Shares of Bank CenterCredit in the long term analysts IFD
"RESMI" about the outlook for growth in securities of the bank to
the level of 1.230 m.;
- Stocks of Kazakhtelecom are looking most attractive for
investment in the long term. Analysts IFD "RESMI" recommend
buying simple shareholders of the issuer.
- The updated target price of shares of JSC Exploration
Production KMG is KZT24.895 per share.
