Stock indices of emerging markets on Wednesday showed mainly an increase
of background growth on European markets, as well as at the opening of
trading in the U.S. Recall indices in the stock market in the U.S. on Wednesday
showed a significant increase on the background of publication of favorable
macroeconomic statistics. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, the
number of initial applications for unemployment benefits for the week ended
Nov. 20 fell by 34 thousand to 407 thousand applications, up to two years
minimum. Analysts had expected only to reduce to 435 thousand applications.
Consumer confidence index, calculated by the University of Michigan, in
November 2010, according to final data, was 71.6 points. Analysts had
expected that the value will rise to 69.3 points. The U.S. Commerce
Department reported that the volume of consumer incomes in October 2010
increased by 0.5%, costs - on 0.3%. Analysts had expected revenue to decline
0.1% and expenditure growth at 0.2%. Some pressure had a message on the
reduction in orders for durable goods in October at 3.3%. We also learned that
sales of new U.S. homes in October fell from 308 thousand to 283 thousand
units. Analysts had expected that this figure will be 315 thousand homes.
European stock indexes also closed down the growth. Support was good
statistics from Germany, which was subsequently supported by the
macroeconomic news from the U.S. The index of business sentiment in
Germany, calculated by Ifo, in November 2010 rose to 109.3 points. Analysts
predicted value in 107.5 points. The index of the current situation in November
was 112.3 points (prediction - 110.3 points), the index of expectations - 106.3
points (104.7 points).

BSE Sensex - the index based on a weighted average of the 30 most liquid
stocks listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
MERVAL Index - main index of the Buenos Aires stock market. calculated as the
weighted average market value of a stock portfolio. selected according to their
market share. number of transactions and value.
PFTS Index - the index is calculated daily on the results of bidding Ukrainian
PFTS stock exchange on the basis of weighted average price of transactions. The
"index basket includes the most liquid stocks. which performed the greatest
number of transactions.
MICEX Ind - main index of the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange. including
the 30 most liquid stocks of Russian issuers.
RTSI - Russia's stock market index Stock Exchange RTS. Calculated on the basis
of 50 securities of most capitalized Russian companies.
MSCI EM - a composite index of stock market capitalization of emerging markets
areas. Since May 2005. includes the index values 26 developing countries:
