Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan announced performance results for nine months of 2010

/KASE, November 23, 10/ - Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan (Almaty), securities of which are listed in Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), informed KASE that Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan and its affiliates achieved by results of nine months of 2010 high indicators on the net income volume among financial groups of Kazakhstan having increased it by 180.4% up to KZT26 bn. In comparison with the year beginning the bank consolidated assets increased by 2% up to KZT2064 bn, including liquid assets by 6.4% to KZT712.5 bn., own capital increased by 10.1%. The bank re-tail deposits makes up (20.8%) and re-tail current accounts (37.3%), which proves high confidence of clients in the bank, the net loan portfolio in the third quarter of 2010 increased by 0.3%. The bank also improves the loan portfolio quality that is proved by inactive loans portion decrease with the payment delay over 30 days up to 18.5% as of October 1, 2010 from 19.6%. The bank implements government crisis-proof programs. Under the 2020 Business Road Map Program the bank considered over 100 applications to the amount of 65 billion 834 million tenge, including 90 - 59 billion 244 million tenge were approved for funding, and 70 applications to the amount of 49 billion 960 million tenge were submitted to the government commission for consideration. Sustainable funding and high liquidity allowed the bank repayment to NWF Samruk-Kazyna the deposit in the size of 60 tenge, and Damu Fund - 11.7 billion tenge. On November 9, 2010, the bank early repaid local subordinated bonds to the amount of 5 billion tenge. The bank has 1686 cash dispensers.
