/IRBIS, November 2, 2010/ -BTA Bank JSC subsidiary BTA Securities
(BTA Securities, Almaty) has provided IRBIS with a survey of main events,
Forecasts and Investment ideas for November 2, 2010.
According to the report, analysts note that the premarket on world
markets is composed as follows:
- Trading in Asian markets today are in a restrained manner before
the meeting FOMC. The Japanese market today, declining rapidly to
strengthen the weak yen and lower shares of leading exporters of the
country. The Chinese market, by contrast, is growing at a moderate
pace after speculation of quantitative easing and growth, in connection
with this, inflation expectations led up shares of commodity producers.
Inhibit the growth of fears of further monetary tightening in China
against the backdrop of rising inflation and prices in the market.
Indexes Hang Seng and Shanghai Composite rising in morning trading
on 0.01-0.25%.
- The euro/dollar is now down to 0.4%, investors apparently decided
to be careful in anticipation of starting today's session of FOMC, which
will address issues of QE2. At the moment the market has uncertainty
regarding the amount of mitigation. The consensus forecast of
economists said the possibility of making repurchase program at $ 500
billion
- The dynamics of commodity markets today is positive. Futures for
Brent crude oil rising in price on 0.4%, copper in Shanghai rises in
price by nearly 0.5%. Gold becomes cheaper at strengthening the
dollar.
- European stock market today, probably starting with restrained
dynamics of the major indexes. Influence the course of trading
during the first half of the day can provide statistics on the euro-zone
PMI Manufacturing. In the future course of trading in Europe and the
U.S. will be determined by speculation concerning the decision FOMC.
In part, the market will affect corporate results, among which will be
interesting reports of Newmont Mining, Pfizer, Archer-Daniels-Midland.
Publications on the U.S. economy today will not be.
