/KASE, November 1, 10/ - By shares trading results on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange
(KASE) on November 1, 2010, KASE index increased by 6.48 points (0.43 %) from
1,521.60 to 1,528.08.
The first deal fixed index at 1,522.76. During the trades the maximum value
made up 1,531.48, the minimum - 1,519.25.
Volume of deals in shares, included to the index representative list, on
November 1 against the previous trading day in tenge increased by 2.3 times and
made up KZT38.3 m (USD259.5 th.).

The KASE Index shows a change in prices of the index representative list stocks
for calculation of the index, with account to capitalization of such issuers and
a number of such stocks in free float. One stock weight must not exceed 15 %.
The KASE Index is calculated during a trading day as deals in the representative
list stocks are concluded. If during a trading day no deals are made in a
representative list stock, then for purposes of such calculation results of the
last resultant trade session are used.
