National Company KazMunaiGas (Kazakhstan) informed on signed credit agreement between Development Bank of Kazakhstan and Atyrau Oil Refinery for construction of aromatic hydrocarbon production complex

/KASE, July 30, 10/ - National Company KazMunaiGas (Astana), bonds of which are listed on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), informed KASE that on July 30, Development Bank of Kazakhstan and Atyrau Oil Refinery (100% KazMunaiGas Exploration and Marketing subsidiary) signed an agreement under implementation of the strategic investment project "Construction of a complex on aromatic hydrocarbons production at Atyrau Oil Refinery in the size of USD1,063,660,000 for 13 years. National Company KazMunaiGas implements this project in compliance with the Kazakhstan Government Resolution # 712 of May 14, 2009 "On approval of the comprehensive plan of oil refineries development in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2009-2015".the project is among strategic investment projects of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to the Kazakhstan Government Resolution # 1293 of September 1, 2009. It is known that on October 29, 2009 under the project Atyrau Oil Refinery signed an agreement with Chinese Sinopec Engineering for construction of the aromatic hydrocarbons production complex. At this, 85% of an agreement cost is funded through the loan of Development Bank of Kazakhstan and Chinese Export-Import Bank. [2010-07-30]
