According to Central Securities Depository (Almaty) all deals on placement of
MEUJKAM-204 of the fourth issue by the end of trade settlement were
executed.
Money invested into MEUJKAM shall be indexed through calculation of indexed
coupon, received as a sum of fixed coupon determined at placement and inflation
rate for the elapsed coupon period.
Current inflation rate for the last 12 months (July 1, 2009 to July 1, 2010),
based on monthly consumer indexes published by the Kazakhstan Statistics Agency is
107.1159. This means that the forecast yield of the bills currently is estimated
at 7.13 % APR provided interpolation of the coupon rate for the whole circulation
period.
MEUJKAM are treasury bills placed among Kazakh pension funds. MEUJKAM
circulate solely among pension funds first half of circulation period to circulate
freely thereafter.
Placed MEUJKAM shall be automatically admitted to the KASE secondary
market under the trade code as in the table. At that the bills shall be quoted in
the KASE trading system in 'dirty' prices.
