BTA Bank (Kazakhstan) connected to its FASTER money transfer system Banking House CJSC

/KASE, July 22, 10/ - BTA Bank (Almaty), bonds of which are listed in Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided to KASE the following pres release: quotation starts Today BTA Bank announced connection of the Russian bank Banking House CJSC to own FASTER express money transfer system. The agreement has been signed on May 26, 2010. Banking House CJSC has been chosen by BTA Bank as the main partner on the FASTER system development in Russia for its strong positions in the largest financial centers of the country - St. Petersburg and Moscow, and BTA Bank own plans related to the FASTER system development abroad а также собственными планами БТА по развитию системы FASTER as well as strengthening of cooperation with foreign banks. The cooperation between BTA Bank and Banking House CJSC shall allow both banks clients transferring money between Kazakhstan and Russia in rubles, US dollars and euro, using the high speed, low tariffs and convenience of the FASTER system. As transferred money volume grows BTA Bank plans to launch various actions with beneficial term of money transfer. The FASTER system, launched by BTA Bank in 2006, is the first Kazakhstan international express money transfer system between individuals that does not require opening of a bank account. Today FASTER is a progressive and convenient way to send and receive money via any system point in Kazakhstan and abroad. During the "crisis" 2009 via the FASTER system were sent and received over 421 thousand money transfers. Banking House CJSC Closed joint stock company Banking House has been founded in June 1994. Its principal shareholder is the Finnish real estate company H-Markkinointi Oy, holds 82.5% stock capital of the bank. The bank has twelve affiliates in St. Petersburg and one on Moscow.
