/REPEATED/ KASE GROUPED LIQUID AND ILLIQUID SHARES FOR Y2010 Q3 TO APPLY REGULATIONS OF TRADES AND CONFIRMATION SYSTEM OPERATION

/KASE, June 25, 10, June 15, 10 news repeated/ - Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) formed groups of liquid and illiquid shares of those listing on the exchange. The groups were formed to apply norms of KASE normative document "Regulations of Trades and Confirmation System Operation" (Regulations). In accordance Regulations beginning January 1, 2010 KASE will hold trade in illiquid shares on business days from 15:00 p.m. through 17:00 p.m. Almaty time, liquid shares - from 11:30 a.m. through 17:00 p.m. Almaty time. Uninterrupted counter-directed share trading will be switched to standby-mode in case of marching and crossing of bids and asks with price of a proposed deal deviating from the last transaction price of such shares 10 % in liquid shares and 5 % in illiquid shares. In order to form these lists in accordance with the Methodology of Securities Liquidity Indicator Defining (the Methodology): - shares liquidity indicators have been calculated for the period from December 1, 2009 to February 28, 2010 and from March 1 to May 31, 2010; - by the KASE Managing Board decision of June 14, 2010 shares liquidity indicator threshold value was set at 0.7. The liquid share list includes shares, liquidity values of which for both periods equal or exceed the threshold value. In addition, with the Methodology item 16 by the KASE Managing Board of have been recognized liquid preferred shares KZ1P51460114 (KASE official list third category, RDGZp) of KazMunaiGas Exploration Production.
