JSC KazTransOil increased volume of oil transportation by 6% in January-April 2010

/IRBIS, May 19, 2010/ - KazTransOil in January-April 2010 increased the
volume of oil transportation by 6% compared to the same period last year, the
press service of the company.
"According to the actual data volume of oil transportation through trunk
pipelines KazTransOil" for January-April 2010 amounted to 17 million 221
thousand tons. Compared with the same period of 2009 the volume of oil
transportation has increased by 980 thousand tons, or 6 % ", - says the
message today.
Cargo turnover in the system of main pipelines KazTransOil "for the first four
months of 2010 totaled 10 billion 749 million tons km. With regard to the same
period last year, this figure remained unchanged.
Within four months of this year, transshipment of oil in the pipeline "Atasu-
Alashankou" has reached a level of 3 million 273 thousand tons, which
exceeds the same period of 2009 to 1 million 231 thousand tons, or 60%.
Transit of Russian oil through the pipeline "Ext-2, located on the territory of
the Republic of Kazakhstan, by the end of the reporting period in 2010 was 1
million 790 thousand tons, an increase compared to January-April 2009
amounted to 194 thousand tons, or 12 %.
Compared with the previous year increased the volume of transportation of oil
through the oil pipelines KazTransOil "to refineries in Kazakhstan. Following
four months of this year, the volume of oil transportation to refineries for
processing of the republic amounted to 4 million 353 thousand tons, which is
higher than the same period in 2009 to 986 thousand tons or 29%.
KazTransOil "is supplying water to consumers of the Volga Atyrau and
Mangistau regions of Kazakhstan on conduit Astrakhan-Mangyshlak. For
January - April the volume of water supply amounted to 6 million 104 thousand
cubic meters and compared to the same period in 2009 increased by 595
thousand cubic meters or by 11%.
