Kazkommertsbank (Kazakhstan) increases its stake in Kazkommertsbank Kyrzyzstan up to 95.75 %

/KASE, May 14, 10/ - Kazkommertsbank (Almaty), listing on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided KASE with a press release dated May 14, 2010: Quotation begins Kazkommersbank common registered shares of OAO Kazkommertsbank Kyrzyzstan in the additional seventh issue, increasing its stake up to 95.75%. It was informed earlier, the general shareholders of OAO Kazkommertsbank Kyrzyzstan on October 14, 2009 made a decision to increase the number of circulating common shares through additional seventh issue of 66,036 shares. Offering price is 500 soums per share. Kyrgyz FSA registered the issue on February 5, 2010. Shareholders, including Kazkommertsbank, acquired 62,657 shares (94.88% of the issue). After the expiry of the preemption right, the remaining 3,379 shares were purchased by Kazkommertsbank. On May 14, 2010 the bank paid the offering price in the amount of 1,689,500 soums. After the acquisition the bank's share increased up to 95.75%. Kazkommertsbank Kyrgyzstan In 2002 Kazkommertsbank became the major shareholder of Joint-stock commercial bank Kyrgyzavtobank. That year the bank was renamed into OAO Kazkommertsbank Kyrgyzstan. OAO Kazkommertsbank Kyrgyzstan is a commercial bank, providing a wide range of services for companies and individuals. The bank is engaged in crediting of small and middle-sized businesses, and renders banking services to population.
