/IRBIS, April 12, 2010/ -BTA Bank JSC subsidiary BTA Securities (BTA
Securities, Almaty) has provided IRBIS with a survey of main events,
Forecasts and Investment ideas for April 12, 2010.
According to the report, the company analysts expect today:
- Today analysts of BTA Securities expect another increase in global
market shares encouraging news for Greece. At the moment it is
known that the EU countries have agreed to provide financial assistance
to Greece, through the acquisition of government bonds worth $ 61
billion with a coupon rate below market level. $ 40.7 billion will be
allocated in Greece for three years with a coupon rate of 5% this year.
The rest of the funds will provide the International Monetary Fund.
Analysts of BTA Securities believe that the news today will positively
affect on the dynamics of the rate of European currencies. On morning
trading, the exchange rate has already appreciated by more than 1%.
Such a strong drop in the dollar should have a positive impact on the
market of raw materials, reviving demand for it as a tool to hedge
currency risks. Shares of commodity companies today are the leaders of
growth. Today also offers corporate reporting season for the first quarter
of 2010. Probably, after the close of trading in the U.S. will report to the
U.S. aluminum producer Alcoa. Positive expectations about the results
will also heat up the market.
- Today analysts of BTA Securities expected to increase investor
demand for shares of commodity companies, which will positively
affect on dynamics of the Kazakhstan market shares.
- In the oil market correction, which was held two sessions in a row,
according to BTA Securities helped to "bulls" to keep the
possibility of further growth. Moreover, the statements from Europe
can support the euro and optimism about economic growth in the region.
Therefore, a small downward correction may again become a platform
for an assault attempt on resistance levels in the area 86.5-87 dollars per
barrel is already next week.
- Drop of the dollar for today and a seasonal increase in the
consumption of base metals, supported by data on the growth of
the March import of copper to China by 42% in the month compared
to lead to the consolidation of the positive sentiment in the market
of basic metals. Shares of mining companies should also become
favorites at today's auction.
- 12 April is expected being weakening of the dollar against the
positives of Greece. The British pound will rise by increasing the volume
of retail sales of the UK, as well as the growing demand of investors for
risky assets amid rising prices for raw materials.
