/IRBIS, March 17, 2010/ - The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan has set
limits the debt of local executive bodies in 2010.
The text of the decree of February 4, 2010 # 69 published on March 16 in the
official press. The regulation will come into effect from the date of official
publication.

* In cases where the local executive body in accordance with the laws of the
Republic of Kazakhstan may borrow on the domestic loan market, the calculation
of the limit set in relation to the income of local executive bodies, the
appropriate amount of tax and non-tax revenues and revenues from sales of fixed
assets net of budgetary exceptions. The maximum limit on the debt of the local
executive body shall not exceed 45% of own revenues.
