In Kazakhstan, food prices in February 2010 compared with February 2009 increased by 4.7%

/IRBIS, March 1, 2010/ - In Kazakhstan, food prices in January 2010 compared with January 2009 increased by 3.9%, indicated in the report issued today the Republic of Kazakhstan Agency for Statistics. It is reported that in January 2010 compared with the corresponding month in 2009 sugar prices increased by 40.2%, coffee, tea and cocoa by 25.4%, alcoholic beverages - by 9.4%, bakeries and pastry -- at 7,7%, confectionery products - by 6.3%, dairy products - by 3.1%, pasta - by 2%. Reduced prices observed for flour by 17.6%, fruit and vegetables - by 6.9%, eggs - by 6.4%, cereals - by 6.2%, oils and fats - 3.9% and bread - by 3.3%.
