IFC, EBRD and CRG Capital have created a fund for investing in troubled assets in Central and Eastern Europe

/IRBIS, January 13, 2010/ - The International Finance Corporation (IFC), member of the World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the CRG Capital created its first fund dedicated to investing in troubled assets in Central and Eastern Europe, stated in the report circulated by the IFC. Fund for special situations in Central and Eastern Europe will invest in poorly performing companies in support of reconstruction in the region. Fund created CRG Capital. It is planned that the capitalization of the Fund of up to 200 million euros. Initially, the EBRD, IFC and CRG Capital invested in the capital stock 36 million euros. The Fund will focus on the acquisition, trafficking, and corporate resolution of problem assets in Central and Eastern Europe.
