/IRBIS, January 5, 2010/ - Results of borrowing the Ministry of Finance and National Bank of Kazakhstan on the primary market for government securities from December 28, 2009 to January 1, 2010: - weekly balance of net borrowing of Kazakhstan Ministry of Finance on the domestic market has developed in the amount of minus KZT 5,427.4 million, the issuer has an auction on Dec. 30, 2009 for placement of government long-term savings and treasury obligations MEUJKAM-228 # 002 (NIN - KZKAKY190023) KZT 13.1 billion; - balance of net borrowing of National Bank of Kazakhstan formed on the week at plus KZT 21,675.0 million. Weekly balance of all government securities issuers by IRBIS estimation was plus KZT 16,247.6 million. The minus sign in the exponent of balance means that the amount was withdrawn from the budget of the issuer (or issuer) and remained among investors, "plus" - by the amount the issuer (issuer) took (taken) more than repaid (redeemed).
