/KASE, December 15, 09/ - BTA Bank (Almaty) informed the Kazakhstan Stock
Exchange (KASE) TuranAlem Finance B.V. (Rotterdam) delayed payment of the
thirteenth coupon interest on international bonds XS0168848801 (KASE, "buffer
category", BTASe3; USD600.0 m; 02.06.03 - 02.06.10; semiannual coupon
7.875 % APR, 30/360).
According to a circular of the issue of the bonds TuranAlem Finance B.V. had to
pay the interest on December 2, 2009.
The bank informed of the following:

Herewith we inform TuranAlem Finance B.V. did not pay the coupon interest on
Euro bonds (ISIN XS0168848801, ...), in connection with a decision on
suspension of interest payment beginning July 22, 2009.
