/KASE, November 30, 09/ - After trades on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE)
on November 30, 2009 KASE Index grew 33.44 (1.9 %) from 1,804.32 to
1,837.76.
The first deal fixed the index at 1,810.74. During the trade the index peaked at
1,858.65, with the minimum - 1,802.23.
Volume of deals in shares listed on the representative list on November 30 fell
against the previous trading day 39.1% and reached KZT 144.5 m (USD 971.9
th).

The KASE Index shows a change in prices of the index representative list stocks
for calculation of the index, with account to capitalization of such issuers
and number of such stocks in free float. One stock's weight must not exceed 15 %.
The KASE Index is calculated during a trading day as deals in the representative
list stocks are concluded. If during a trading day no deals are made in a
representative list stock, then for purposes of such calculation results of the
last resultant trade session are used.
