/KASE, November 19, 09/ - After trades on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE)
on November 19, 2009 KASE Index grew 1.15 bps (0.1 %) from 1,806.54 to
1,807.69.
The first deal fixed the index at 1,801.96. During the trade the index peaked at
1,845.96, with the minimum - 1,790.03.
Volume of deals in shares listed on the representative list on November 19 grew
against the previous trading day in KZT terms by 12.5 % and reached
KZT156.8 m (USD1,052.8 th).

The KASE Index shows a change in prices of the index representative list stocks
for calculation of the index, with account to capitalization of such issuers and
a number of such stocks in free float. One stock's weight must not exceed 15 %.
The KASE Index is calculated during a trading day as deals in the representative
list stocks are concluded. If during a trading day no deals are made in a
representative list stock, then for purposes of such calculation results of the
last resultant trade session are used.
