/KASE, October 28, 09/ - After trades on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) on
October 28, 2009 KASE Index fell 77.42 points (4.6 %) from 1,700.05 to
1,622.63
The first deal fixed the index at 1,707.25. During the trade the index peaked at
1,707.25, with the minimum - 1,622.23.
Volume of deals in shares listed on the representative list on October 28
decreased against to the previous trading day in KZT terms by 2 times and
reached KZT 72.7 m (USD 482.3 th).

The KASE Index is calculated during a trading day as deals in the representative
list stocks are concluded. If during a trading day no deals are made in a
representative list stock, then for purposes of such calculation results of the
last resultant trade session are used.
